What is a good and cheap motel/hotel in Belgrade, Serbia (preferably near the motorway)?

I'm heading to Slovenia and passing through Serbia. I only plan to stay a single night.

I always book my European hotels though http://www.travel-europe.org

You can search on rates and location, so its pretty easy to find discount rates on hotels.

Search here for cheap hotels

http://www.jetsetgotravels.com

It provides search option like near a landmark etc

But beware ... cheap hotels can be trouble some times so check reviews of the hotel you are going to book.

Check the exact location of hotel from google maps.

How's Serbia these days? No more war? Hope not. Anyway, your best bet is here:

Huge motel ERA, by the motorway to Slovenia (if you are coming from south).

Belgrade hotels here http://hotels.americacheaphotels.com/City/Belgrade_Serbia_And_Montenegro.htm

Where can I find cheap motels in Henderson, Nevada?

Yeah, I'm trying to find a cheap place to stay in Henderson, Nevada but I have no idea where to look.

If anyone knows any good websites to help me look, that would be cool, or if anyone knows any motels that really are cheap and remember the name of the motel, then I'll take that too.

There's really not many choices in Henderson itself. There's a Hampton Inn, a Holiday Inn Express, a Comfort Inn, a Microtel, Hilton Garden Inn, Mariott Courtyard, and Sunset Station, Green Valley Ranch, The M, and Fiesta Henderson are pretty much it. But the latter several aren't motels. The Hampton, Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn are all on Marks St. I used Travelocity to find the list.

Hi I did a little search for you and found the following cheap hotels:

Fiesta Hotel & Casino Henderson $38

777 West Lake Mead Parkway

http://compare-rate.my-discount-hotels.com/Hotel/Fiesta_Hotel_Casino_Henderson_Nevada.htm

Americas Best Value Inn Henderson $46

85 West Lake Mead Parkway

http://compare-rate.my-discount-hotels.com/Hotel/Americas_Best_Value_Inn_Henderson_Nevada.htm

Hawthorn Suites Henderson $48

910 South Boulder Highway

http://compare-rate.my-discount-hotels.com/Hotel/Hawthorn_Suites_Henderson_Nevada.htm

Sunset Station Hotel Henderson $53

1301 West Sunset Road

http://compare-rate.my-discount-hotels.com/Hotel/Sunset_Station_Hotel_Henderson_Nevada.htm

There are about 22 hotels here to choose from:

You may have a look yourself. Best of all, they compare the same hotel at over 30 hotel reservations website and get the best deal.

I have an address in lagos, Nigeria can i find out the hotel/motel that it is?

the address is 49A, victoria Street, ojota

city Lagos code 23401

You could punch the address in on Google Earth, then zoom in and click on "lodging" and see what comes up. Other than that I have no idea.

Is someone trying to sell you something or get you to send money for some reason? Be careful.

Sorry if this is not the case. But I get daily emails from Nigeria to scam me one way or another, as many people do.

The address seems non existent to me.I am not in nigeria anyway,i know OJOTA exists in Lagos, but victoria street,i doubt.Do contact the nigeria postal service for more info, the organisation is called NIPOST.www.nipost.gov.ng and search for the street there.if its in Nigeria,it will be there, and let it be a good way for foreigners to verify addresses in Nigeria.

Cheers.

What is the law for taxes return from motel ,i ve stayed 90 days?

after 90days staying at motel/hotel,you get taxes you have pd ,after 90 days you become resedent and dont pay any more taxes plus u get taxes back already paid.i live in n.c where can i find this info

Per the state's website at www.dornc.com:

"Receipts derived from the rental of any room, lodging or accommodation to the same person for a period of 90 continuous days or more are not subject to the tax, and the tax collected from any person prior to the accumulation of such 90 continuous days of occupancy by said person shall be refunded to such person by the retailer collecting the same. A retailer actually making any such refund of tax which he has paid to the Department shall be entitled to claim credit for the tax so refunded on a subsequent return filed by him with the Department."

You should get it from the hotel.

assuming the law you quoted is correct then the logical people to ask are the ones who run the motel

What router should i buy for hotel & motel wireless internet?

Hotel & Motel is 7 floors and need authantication page uploaded so user can agree to the disclamier and then use the internet, need less expensive and with atleast 70 users can use it simuntaneously

For a 7 story hotel, you're going to need multiple Wireless Access Points. You really don't need a wireless router.

Frankly, you should contract this out to someone who can evaluate your facility and make a proper professional recommendation.

I think you would be better off contacing your provider . they would be much better at helping you because of bandwith you might use might not be right for your account.

How old do you have to be to get a motel/hotel room?

old enough to pay the bill. at least 17

it really depends. Most places just want you to have a credit card (meaning you have to be 18). Some places do have a 21 age limit. But it is rare. Some places will let you check in at 16 IF a parent comes to check you in. (they need the card holder to sign for the room) So it must be something close to you. You'd really have to call the hotels to see if it's okay. but for most as long as you have a credit card you are fine

It varies by the state, & the hotels rules too.

In NJ I got one at age 17.

But I also paid cash too.

As long as you have a form of Government I.D. you should have no problem at all.

Usually 18 or older.

Pretty sure you have to be 18.

old enough to get a *****

i don't think theres an age limit...

Has anyone stayed at the Edgecliff motel in Lincoln City, OR?

Lincoln City is a very popular tourist destination. All amenities there are kept in a good order.

Do I need a Credit Card to rent a motel room ?

Can u get a motel room if u are 18 and dont have a credit card, however, have cash??? or u have to have a credit card to get a motel room?

90% require a credit card - unless you pay in advance.

No, cash works just fine. But you will have to pay when you check in. And you might have to put down a deposit, so bring lots of cash. Or, you can hold the room with a credit card but pay cash when you check out.

No, but your best option for not getting taken advantage of is to get a mastercard gift card or something. You pay cash for it and it can be used anywhere.

usually, but i did have one idiot bf that checked us into the westin, and they accepted his cash. Oh you said motel. Motel = creepy

lol....guess well find out huh!

How old do you have to be to check out a room in a hotel or motel?

My boyfriend and I are very close. But, he is going to college about 3 1/2 hours away. I guess it's not that bad of a drive but either way he's not going to have a car there and I don't have a car myself, other than my parents van I drive around. I know, lame. But anyway, I am 17 and won't be 18 until next May. He is 18 and will be 19 in the middle of September. I was on hotels.com and it considered 18 being a child so I wasn't sure if that meant that an 18 year old wouldn't be able to check out a room or not. I'm sure this is a very "blonde" question, but I really want to be able to know weather or not I'll be able to visit him. But then again his birthday is only a 2 weeks into the month so either way I can get a room, right?

...and just for the record I would check in as one person. Cheaper that way.

18 is usually the age requirement, but som places may require you to be 19. Just check around, and if all else fails have one of your boyfriend's older college buddies rent it for you guys.

The others have answered your age-related question, but I would like to add this:

If there will be two people in the room and you check in as one person using the room, you are committing a crime called "defrauding an innkeeper." I don't recommend lying, even if telling the truth costs you a little more. By the way, some motels/hotels rent by the room based on double occupancy, which means two people costs the same as one, so check around and find one that fits your budget.

Also, many colleges allow over-night guests in the dorms, so you may not need a hotel at all. If you want to stay together, he can work that out with his roommate. If you do not want to stay together, there may be a girl in the dorm who will let you sleep in her room.

BTW, I don't know what the legal age is, but if you are planning on staying together, be sure that your age doesn't make him a statutory rapist in the state you will be staying in. I wouldn't want the hotel to call the cops because you defrauded them on the room price/no. of occupants and then have the cops say, oh, by the way, she's under 18 so HE goes to jail.

well to get a hotel/motel you have to be 18, but most hotel/motel prefer there occupants to be 21 or older. but I have rented hotels at 18.so good luck.

You might find a hotel that only requires you to be 18 but I know a lot of hotels want at least one person checking into the room to be 21.

Looking for nice motel/hotel in the cleveland area that we can park our harley and not worry about it?

want to be able to park our harley outside motel room, any nice motels to stay in?

High end...Ritz-Carlton downtown. Secured parking.

Outside of the city...most suburbs you will be OK...Strongsville, Berea, Lakewood. Avoid anything with "Heights"...Garfield Heights, Maple Heights, etc.

25 minutes outside the city....Summit County. Macedonia, Stow, Twinsburg, Hudson.....nice hotels, very low crime, very pro-active Police. Hiltons. Hamptons, etc.

You want a motel, so....umm.....Strongsville. This is a really nice suburb southwest of the city. It is very safe there. For such a nice suburb, they have lots of low budget (privately owned, not a chain) motels on Pearl Road. This is one of the main roads that lead to the center of Strongsville. (off of Route 82). Sorry I can't think of any of the motels' names, but I know that they won't be very expensive. They are in close proximity to a lot of things to do in Strongsville.

Western Suburbs...Westlake , North Ridgeville, Avon...there is a Super 8 and a Motel 6 in North Ridgeviille on Lorain Rd. b/w 480 and 80. Close to downtown, but still safe. Westlake has some nicer places around Crocker Park off I-90 at Crocker Road.(Holiday Inn is one). Strongsville is OK...Those "private" hotels on Pearl are dumps...I was a PAramedic and hauled indigents out of there regularly. Stick with a chain...there is a Holiday Inn on Royalton Rd. (Rt. 82) just eat of I-71. Also, a little farther south in Brunswick and Medina, just of I-71 are hotels as well...getting about 30-40 min. south of town, now. East of town is Beachwood off I271 at Chagrin...a little ritzier, not sure how they feel about Harley crowds. Anyway...good Luck....stay West/South...east side sucks.

In Independence, on Rockside Rd, there are several hotels, one of which is a Days Inn. My parents and sister stay there when they come to visit us. Its a nice central location, just off I-480 at I-77.

Would the average high school jock be able to find a job at a Hotel chain?

I know it's crazy, but do small hotels (not motels) ever hire high school kids? I live in a small town, and really there's nothing else besides labor and flipping burgers. There's a holiday inn in town, but should i get real?

Just remember, if you really want something, then work hard for it. it does not matter your background as long as you do what needs to be done and contribute to make the company better

Good Luck!

They would probably hire you as a houseman.

The houseman is responsible for helping guests with luggage, helping the maids fold laundry in the laundry room, cleaning the parking lot, and the grounds of the hotel, including hallways, the lobby, and possibly even taking care of the landscaping.

basically, aside from front desk functions, the houseman is responsible for doing everything that the maids don't do.

Yes, there's a chance.

You should try to apply to be a bellman (person who helps guests with their luggage), front desk clerk, or maybe groundskeeper. There are a number of jobs that they could consider you for, even in a small town.

Yes working in the kitchen as a dishwasher...

What is the different between a hotel and a motel?

Motel is short for "motor hotel". Most motels have doors that face out or are accesible from the outside instead of having to go through a lobby area to gain acces to the roon through inside doors.

Motels were introduced after WWII and were found along rural roads and highways. The motels that I see now in Virgina are all along the Route 1 corridor. Everything along interstate 95 tends to be hotels.

In todays day and age, I don't think that there are too many differences between the two. Heck, just look at the Motel 6 chain, they are part of Accor hotels.

Motel implies that you drive up to it in a Motor Vehicle. - So they are likely to have a substantial parking facilities be in less urban areas than a hotel.

the hotel is bigger than motel

the difrence is that a motel is smaller with less and is cheaper then a hotel

Are cops allowed to just walk into a motel room without knocking and hand out tickets for underage drinking?

the cops then kicked us out of the room after we paid for the night and we were forced to sleep 6 people in the car. I believe that my civil rights were violated.

Your civil rights were not violated.

You were committing a crime, so they had probable cause to enter the hotel and bust you. Now had you been sleeping and not BREAKING THE LAW, you may have a case.

you broke the law so they dont care about your "civil rights" Maybe next time you will be more responsible. Stop looking to blame the cops, whatt happened to you is called "consequenses"♥

I believe they were not.

Edit: Your civil rights, I mean.

If the motel manager, or desk clerk was suspicious and informed the police of his/her suspicions, the police did not violate any civil rights in just walking in. There is no expectation of privacy when you are committing a crime in a public place. A motel room is a public place

They are allowed to enter the room if they suspect illegal activity and the hotel lets them in.

The hotel has the right to allow the cops into any room they choose, since the room belongs to them.

sober up, spend some of that hotel money on a few books about the 1960s and learn what "civil rights" actually means...

The hotel called on you. Still, you had rented the room for the night and the 4th and 14th amendments apply. They had no right to just walk in on you. You had an expectation of privacy.

But, and a strong but, if the management called about a loud party, the officers could stand outside, hear the loud party and knock on the door. Then when the door was opened, it would be considered an invitation to enter. Then they would see violations and have to deal with them.

If the motel management called them, yes. I doubt if they were just crusing motels looking for underage drinkers by themselves.

your were wrong and your lucky thats all they did.

no violations there

yes they are...they only need warrants to SEARCH houses....

I believe if you are under the age of 21 you have no civil right to drink. Sorry. If you're breaking the law the cops can give you a ticket. And why sleep in a car? Don't you have a home to go to? If not, then find one.

no. if you paid for the room then it serves as your house, subject to all fourth amendment rights. they would have needed a warrant to just come in. however, if someone answered the door, they probably smelled or saw alcohol and/or minors in the room, they would have authority to come in due to plain view exceptions. this is especially true if the person answering the door was intoxicate, underage, or let them in. hotel mgmt does not reserve right to let them search room if you rented it. your story does not provide enough information to say for certain.

If the police have reason to believe a crime is being committed, they can enter the room without warrent. A motel is not a safe haven for kids binge drinking. The motel probably got complaints from your neighbors.

This is the problem with many teens: drinking, partying, being loud without care or concern for those around you. Then: surprise, you get busted. Next time, be sneaky; you'll get away with it. I always did.

Yes We can come in and give you a ticket for underage drinking!

If the hotel has some posted warning regarding bad behavior and the right to eject anybody breaking the law, then they can call cops and have you ejected.

Strange you weren't arrested or at least taken to a precinct to be held until your parents showed up. Instead, knowing that you've been drinking they let you end up back in your car? Amazing - I'd love to see the look on those cops' faces if you mowed down a family of 28 and then blew BAC's of .33. How could they respond to that? "Well, they were just drinking, so we kicked them out of the hotel and put them in a car. We figured the hotel wou;d be safer with these guys on the street."

Amazing.

"I believe that my civil rights were violated."

Unfortunately, when the Constitution was signed, the Bill of Rights had an Amendment allowing each and every man the right to be free of not having to sleep in their car with six other underage drunks; but a delegation of Teamsters from some place called Detroit, arrived and broke both of Thomas Jefferson's legs before the amendment could be ratified.

So, you're out of luck.

Stop complaining. The cops didn't hurt and they didn't take you to jail...which they could have. You made a choice to break the law and you got caught. Pay the fine and thank God you live in a country where the cops didn't rape you, kill you, and then drink you booze.

What is the difference between hotel and a motel?

With a motel, you access the rooms from the outside. In a hotel you access the rooms from the inside.

Sorry BlingMe, but the number of stories has nothing to do with it. I once stayed at the Wilson World Hotel, and it only had three floors.

Motel is a combination of Motor+Hotel.

Hotel is a high rise over 7 floors. Motel is a midrise usually less than 8 floors.

Cardinal..after I typed it I realized it might differ from state depending on their structural laws.

You go to a hotel to have sex with your wife, but when you get your hands on a fast one, you go to a motel. It's quicker, it's closer and it's cheaper.

A hotel is a place to conveniently enjoy a period of stay and probably would visit it with your kids, family, or good friends on a road trip or in visiting another city; as opposed to a motel that is cheap, quick, and a bit on the flimsy side. In paying for a hotel you would get your money and full time stay; a motel--you might hit it and quit it.

Motel gives you a kitchen, like a mini home where a hotel is where you go with a prostitute...

motel is on the road and it is for one night use and you can park yyour car

and it is smaller than the hotel and more ...

hotel or motel?

hotel- basically a upscale place where u can relax and have a good time. and get away for awhile plus it has a pool, weight room, and free breakfast. You are also inside of a building.

motel-basically something not as nice as a hotel. u usually see them in little spots and most are accesable from the outside. not many have free breakfast, they give u a microwave and refrigerator.

What is it called when you blend two word together to make one, for example: motel = motor and hotel?

There is a term for this blending of words in English language.

It's called a portmanteau

In modern English, combining two words to make one new word is called a Bushism. Examples of Bushisms include : -

speechyfingness

glorficarmageddon

democristan

and so forth. I expect you've got a list of these already.

What about 'Caravan' =carriage van.

Portmanteau or simply blending.

Either is acceptable in exams.

In language, combining two words of different meanings to make an entirely different word with a different meaning results into a coumpound word.

Examples:

ice + cream = ice cream

hot + dog = hotdog

class + room = classroom

I think it's a portmanteau word

that word you seek is:

portmanteau

I call it bastardizing

How Old Do You have to be in Canada specifically Toronto to rent a moteL?

Usually 18 to 21, but they will want you to produce a credit card in your name and government photo ID (such as a driver's licence). Have a nice party!!

All you need is a credit card and nothing more. I am from Toronto and I was getting hotel rooms at 18 with the girlfriend no problem.

Mind you... you have to be 18 to get a credit card.

18 is typical, sometimes 21. Call ahead to be sure.

18 and have a credit card and propper ID

i believe it is 19.

You need a credit card, so at least 18.

18 years of age

How much does the Motel 5, Belleville On, suite cost?

I want to stay at the motel 5 suite. Does anyone know how much it cost per night??

thanx

Kasi

p.s. does anyone know if you have to be over 18?

If it's like other motels the cost will vary depending on the season, the day of the week and if there is a special event going on in the area. And yes, you'll probably have to be over 18.

Most hotels don't care how old you are. If you have a credit card, that is the best way to make your reservation. If you intend to pay cash, they may ask for a deposit (especially if you are under age).

Why don't you just phone the hotel and ask them if they have available for the night you want, how much it costs, and what the restrictions would be if you wanted to pay cash for the room.

I sense a dirty weekend coming up!

Does anybody know anything about Louisville Manor Motel on Dixie Hwy?

Can anyone tell me what goes on there ?

Is it safe?

Is it gay friendly?

How about crossdresser are they welcomed there?

It is a motel with an adult bookstore where people can rent rooms by the hour. A woman was murdered there in April 2007 and police routinely visit to make sure inappropriate activity is not taking place.

How would you define Good customer service when checking into or staying at a motel?

Friendliness of the staff, anticipating your needs, attention to your wants, cleanliness of the facility.

fast.efficient, clean room.that is all I want out of a motel........

good customer service comes within the place what i mean is if the motel is well-mantained amd the staff well trained everytime you enter the front counter every of their staff greeted you in a warm smile that way means a good custer service and you will feel welcome staying at the motel

How to get to disneyland coming from Union Station? and what hotel/motel/ inn that is within the vicinity?

how long is the travelling time from union station?

- From Union Station, take the MTA Metro Red Line to Pershing Square or 7th Street station (only 2-3 stops away).

- Walk to the 5th Street bus stops near the Central Library / U.S. Bank Tower.

- Transfer to MTA Bus 460 for the Disneyland Resort.

With L.A. traffic, you never know exactly. MTA estimates that the trip will take around 90 minutes in good traffic.

They eliminated transfers a few years ago. So, you're going to have to pay $1.25 each time you board (or buy a $5.00 Daypass).

------

All the hotels inside the Disneyland Resort are operated by Disney. They're very expensive though. There are information booths near the Main Entry Plaza if you want to look into those hotels.

There are shuttle buses to cheaper local motels from the resort. Just ask someone for the "shuttle bus loading area" if you get lost. The staff at Disney are exceptionally accommodating and friendly.

-----

NOTE: I was under the impression that you were traveling by train and don't have a car. If you're driving from Downtown L.A., you just drive down I-5 South until you hit the exit for Disneyland (Harbor Blvd). I'm not sure why you need directions for that.

goggle maps will get you where you are going turn by turn

What SFDude said!

I wonder how this guy could give to you information very accurate about LA because he's the leader in San francisco section ....i'm just curious lol

What's a cheap hotel/motel close to the T or the Rail but outside of Boston?

I am visiting Boston in 2 months and needed a place to stay... Something cheap and nice and close to the T or Rail but outside of Boston (not too far out). Also, what time does the rail and the T stop working in Boston??

Thanks

The Best Western Adams Inn is in No. Quincy, about a mile from the North Quincy Station on the Red Line.

Holiday Inn in Somerville is great and the Bus stop that goes to sullivan station is right outside the Hotel.

The T begins around 5 in the morning and stops running trains after 12 or 1pm. I'm not quite sure which, I believe it might be 12. I'd recommend stay at the Oasis - great deal IN Boston, MA and close to the T.

Search by location within the city and get the best deal here:

http://www.hotelscombined.com?a_aid=781bc64c

During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.

How old do you have to be to rent a hotel/motel room in Houston?

im trying to get a room for my birthday, but idk how old you have to be to get a room. jw bc i just turned 18, and i thought it was 18 to get a room

You have to be 18.

The major chains want you to be 21. For the Mom-and-Pop places it'll probably be 18.

You'll need a valid credit card with enough credit left on it for a one-night stay PLUS a security deposit. If you're 18 they will definitely do that. Why? Because an 18 year old will want to do one of two things with a hotel room: 1) take his girlfriend there for the night, or 2) throw a party for his friends. Either way the room can get trashed beyond the abilities of one maid.

Note, a hotel CAN refuse the to rent you a room.

Unless I'm mistaken it's 18.

I believe it varies by the rules at the different hotel/motels. Certainly 18 years of age is the minimum age, but some facilities require 21 years of age. A credit/debit card in your name will also be required.

the check-in age is 18, my brother is 17 and he will be leaving last. i was wondering will he be able to check out?

Probably so, if you've paid up front. If you pay up front, all you do at check out is drop off the key and go.

Valet Parking at a motel, how does that work?

Going to Vancouver and going through list of accommodations and see one with Valet parking.

We are staying a few days. Do we tip the valet every time we take the car out? How much? Also are guests also charged a daily fee which will appear on the bill at time of check-out? It's the Ramada Limited Downtown.

First off, it's not a motel, it's a hotel. And, yes, you will be charged for the parking, $25 per 24-hour period. Valet parking has always been provided free of charge at any of the hotels that I've ever stayed at, on the premise that people will tip the attendants coming and going. Since you're going to be paying what I consider to be a ridiculously high fee simply to provide you with a parking spot, the only tip I would give the attendants would be "Never Eat Yellow Snow".

A clear sign you were too cheap on your motel choice?

I mean, aside from cigarette burns on the carpet.

The hotel clerk doesn't speak English and appears annoyed that you haven't learned his language.

The police crime scene tape is still outside the room adjoining yours.

The sheets act like flypaper and stick to you when you try to stand up.

Worse yet, they don't provide you instant coffee or a little coffee maker, just an old cup with coffee reisidue all over the inside and some hot water to help you dissolve it enough that it colors the water.

cockroaches in the shower.

yuck.

Instead of leaving a mint on the pillow they leave a half-eaten Peppermint Patty.

Mushrooms behind the toilet and all the light bulbs are missing.

There was no furniture and the wall had a huge hole in it.

sticky bedsheets.

Pubic hair in the bed. True story.

I with my friends are going to Wisconsin Dells from Work and Travel program (we are about 10 guys). Our job is in Polenesian water park, and we want to reserve a house near that park. If you khnow any house there or how to search, please reply!

What do i need in order to rent a hotel/motel room..read details?

ok so my boyfriend is flying into town, hes 17. (Los Angeles, to Dallas) His parents are more than happy to rent a hotel/motel whatever for him but there not coming along on the trip. So can my boyfriend stay in a hotel room by himself? He doesnt have a credit card (his parents are paying), and cannot bring his parents credit card along on this trip. And he has a form of ID.

When in doubt call the hotel or motel direct some will only ask for a drivers license or valid ID. The parents can call and make the reservation and confirm the room with their credit card with most hotels.

Some may or may not want a credit card for security if they require a credit card some will take a cash deposit as well.

dont need a credit card just a deposit & your set'' hunny''

All you need is a driver's license or other form of ID and, of course, money.

Have fun and don't wake the neighbors! ;-)

Would a hotel/motel allow a 16 year old and a 17 year old to check in?

Me and a buddy of mine(I'm 16 and so is he, but when we plan to take a trip I will be 17 and he will be 16 still), plan to take a trip down to Clearwater, Florida and stay in a hotel for 9 nights or so, will the hotel allow us to check in?

I used to live in Clearwater, FL.

I doubt they will let you check in though.

Unfortunately, you are 1-2 years under the actual age.

Most motels require you to have an adult 18 or older check you in.

I hope you have plenty of fun there. I love Clearwater, FL

Provided your credit card checks out and doesn't bounce there should be no problem.

None.

The minimum check in age for most hotels and motel is 21 and its 18 at some hotels. It doesnt get any lower than 18.

no

you have to be an adult (18 years old or older)

not unless u get someone 18 or older. see if u can reserve the room first.

if you 18 yeah they dont trust young people sorry

nope, they would ask for ID. and you can't put your room in a name of a 16 or 17teen.

How do I FIND OUT how much MONEY they make??

Hotel/Motel management

Resort Management

International Business

I want to major in either of these choices but I am still not sure what I want to do. I would like to find out how much money I would be making if I did pick one of the majors. Like what is the starting salary?

Also, what catagory should I actually post this question in? And, how do I know and find the right University for me? Thanks:)

try Princeton review (review.com). It has a comprehensive list of majors that relate to a certain career you can choose to go by either the career or the major to find a career. Once you choose hotel manager, it has a profile that explain a day in the life of a hotel manager, it then has another lists that shows you the quality of life a year into it, five years into it and then ten years into it. It also shows a list of facts and figures showing you the average income for the career of choice, what materials to read, what movies hows this career , who are the major companies hiring for these positions, and what agencies to refer to.

the catagory doesnt mater. Go to salary.com

Were can i find a cheap weekly motel in Anaheim or Buena park?

Why don't you try to share a flat? It can be less expensive and allow other ways to save money.

A cheap breakfast in a cheap hotel = $10.00 Same breakfast by your own... $3.00 (disposal dishes included).

cheap is a relative term and you usually get what you pay for. extended stay america has a couple locations in that area, but the cheapest ($50 or under a night) would be red roof, ramada, golden state, super 8, america's best, or day's inn.

hotwire.com and priceline.com will have your best prices :)

What if a guy asks a girl to come stay at a motel or hotel with him?

What does that mean?

sex

What do you think ?

If a guy asked a girl to come to the pool what do you think is going to happen?. (they will go for a swim)

If a guy asked a girl to the movies what do you think they will do?(watch a movie)

I could go on and on if you like but I hope you get the picture.

However I will tell you ok. He wants to have SEX with you.

Unless he's your husband or fiance, it means smile and walk away.

If you don't know that implies having sex, you are clueless. Even worse, if you go and don't give it up, you are cock tease for leading him on and deserve bad karma

That pretty much means to obvious. You can expect that he wants to have sex.

it means he wants to pull an all nighter talking about how he feels and playing some games. im kidding. he wants to get it on

It means he would like intercourse and that he is likely married.

probably just wants to read or something.

definitely something sexual or illegal like drugs...haha...

If he's just "a guy", that means you shouldn't go.

he thinks youre a cheap tramp that will have sex in a cheap motel

He wants your body. That's all.

He wants you!!!

Can anyone suggest a hotel/motel in Fremont, California that has a private whirlpool/jacuzzi in the room?

I have been searching the net like a mad woman, and I am not getting anywhere. I am willing to travel 10 minuites or so outside out Fremont; but I am not familiar with the area.

I am also somewhat frightened by some of the reviews that I am reading about the hotels that are available in the area.

Anyone have first hand knowledge?

Thanks in advance

I would not use a whirlpool/jacuzzi in your Hotel Room. When you turn it on -

you will see dirty soap scum emanating from the inlet holes -

it is disgusting.

Where can I find an audition song?

I am auditioning for "Fiddler on the Roof" and I need help finding an audition song. I am auditioning for Motel, and Perchick.

Motel is a kind of awkward tailor, who falls in love with Tevye's oldest daughter.

Perchik is a student of Kiev, he is a revolutionary, and very strong minded. Also falls in love with a daughter.

If any can help, I would appreciate it.

It might be overdone, I'm not up on the boys' end of things, but perhaps one of the Beast's songs from Beauty and the Beast, or "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat?

Who was in the motel room with Martin Luther King when he was murdered?

I believe it was 3 men, but not sure. How many are still living?

Check this link http://www.martinlutherking.org/dream.html

Yes, there were three - but there should have actually been four - but Elvis never did receive his invitation.

Flippin' post!

no clue

Let me guess, Marilyn Monroe.

No one was in the motel room with MLK when he was murdered because he wasn't in a motel room at the time of his assassination...he was outside the room...standing on a balcony. Just thought I'd throw that in there. I think there were 3 men on the balcony with him and...in just guessing....2 are still living.

How old do you have to be to get a motel room in NJ?

Does the person have to be 18 or 21 years of age to get a room, and can you only get a room with a credit card? (This is for NJ)

If you go to a no name local place with cash... most of the time the clerks don't speak enough English to ask you for ID.

Why don't you call a motel and ask? In the meantime I will call your mother and ask her why you are interested in a Motel Room/

yes

If you are old enough to buy condoms, then you're old enough to get a motel room.

if you have to ask you are to young

What's the difference between a bed & breakfast and a motel/hotel?

I've never been to a bed & breakfast before.

A bed and breakfast is usually run out of a building that was originally house and generally will serve you a huge breakfast in the morning (the one we go to every year also gives us a free bottle of wine, some cheese, and homemade crackers every evening you stay there).

The rooms tend to be more individualized also instead of having each room look like the next in a hotel. Some of the nicer B&Bs will also have complimentary beverages in the room (like a free honor bar basically).

The big thing you have to get used to is that you feel like you're staying at someone's house, in someone's bedroom. Otherwise, I like them better than hotels because they tend to be a better value and nicer in general.

A motel/hotel is a bigger place with sometimes hundreds of rooms. (normally also a chain)

A bed and breakfast is smaller and more intimate, normally very unique, and more of a home like feeling. Normally owned by a family, or small business. (not that cooperate stuff)

From what I understand, a B & B is usually in someone's home...they serve breakfast at a table, more "family style" than the free breakfast stuff that you get at a motel/hotel. you also pay out the *clears throat* for a B & B...but hey, if you want to pay me to sleep at my place, I am more than willing to take your money! I will even make you whatever you want for breakfast!

a bed and breakfast is usually more elaborate than a motel, more homey...generally they are in older homes or estates, etc...sometimes not. Never been in one either, and never plan on it ....

oh...and more costly because you get more personalized sevice :)

Were can i find the cheapest motel on the north side of chicago with hourly rates like 2 hours?

Apparently, someone needs a no-tell motel.

2 hours? is that for a nap???

more like a ho tell.

Maybe the old motels on Lincoln Avenue north and south of Peterson? Ain't many of them left, thank goodness.

trying to get a quickie, huh?

Ummm....Your Mom's house??

Motel 6---they'll leave the light on for you........

In the red light district.

Mannheim Rd....south of O'Hare. There are a bunch of them.

Not sure, but you could always just buy a cheap van and park it somewhere. Just a suggestion, as it would save money in the long run.

What is the best way to see if a motel/hotel has jacuzzi rooms?

ASK

Call and ask.

Look up the hotel's number (Google or otherwise) and CALL THEM.

Many travel sites do include a list of amenities, but the best way really is to call the front desk and ASK.

search it

look it up on the internet or ask at the from desk.

Is there any difference between a hotel and a motel?

Other than one is more expensive but which one is better? Please clear this annoying question up for me, once and for all!

thanks!

In my experience, motels are generally one story and have seperate rooms with doors leading outside. Hotels are more of a multi-story building that contains the rooms with their doorways leading to the hallway.

There is one basic difference that Wikipedia lists, but I'm sure you'll find more there:

"Hotels differ from motels in that most motels have drive-up, exterior entrances to the rooms, while hotels tend to have interior entrances to the rooms, which may increase guests' safety and present a more upmarket image."

Check out the article linked for more info.

An easy way to remember this is that hotel is the French cognate of hostel, whereas motel derives from 'motor hotel,' and thus is going to be more accessible from a roadway and (very likely) less city-oriented.

2 letters

Hotel can defiantly be better but there are some hotels that actually look like motels. Motels tend to be dirtier and run down.

motel is a kind of small hotel that is usually on the roads, so that drivers who are for example traveling all night can have somewhere to rest in, but a hotel is usually bigger, more expensive, with more equipments and can be anywhere, in the city or along the beach.

What is the difference between a HOTEL and a MOTEL?

I have just always wondered what the difference is because they serve the same purpose

several good answers. Motels are generally one night or maybe two nights stop over on a journey by car, you can usually park right outside your room. Hotels may have more luxury and usually you go thorough the hotel to get in or out

A motel is a motor hotel, which was developed in the early days of the automobile as a place for automobile travelers to stay and is therefore generally located near major roads rather than in the center of a city or railway, as a hotel would be.

Motels would often be organized around the parking lot or "motor court." A motel generally will not have full hotel services, such as a formal restaurant. The doors of the rooms will generally open to the outdoors rather than an interior hallway.

Well, in my country, (Puerto Rico) Hotels are for tourists or locals who want to spend a good time, with pools etc, a hotel. Now, a Motel. people, especially men, use to take their girlfriends there to have sex, or ppl cheating on their spouse also use motels. Thats how it usually is in PR lol

Hotel start with H ..Motel start with M hahahahahahah

Hotel: when you leave your room you are in a hall

Motel: when you leave your room you are outside

Is it better living in a trailer court or motel room?

Assuming both have the same ammenities and cost roughly the same.

Assuming which we all know you should never do but anyway, if they're approx. the same size, with the same amount of storage then I would go with the hotel. In a hotel you get someone to clean your room plus don't need to deal with the neighbors, free breakfast is always a plus too. You'll get it after you get to know the workers. If I could have the benefits of a hotel w / the size & comfortability of a trailer for a couple bucks more, I'm hotel bound.

better to go to school and get an education

or move into a trailer park and become trailer trash

or move into motel and become a junkie

I think that an Motel room is more comfortable and is fitted with more modern conveniences.

Can someone provide me a list of some motel names in Puerto Galera, Philippines?

I will travel to stay there from March 17th til March 28.

Hi,

I got married in Puerto Gallera in february of this year and this is the hotel we stayed at alot of times and also got married on the beach there and had our guests stay they.

It is gorgeous but very reasonable in rates and has lots of different room options depending how much you want to pay and how many people you want to room...you will definately find something will suit you!

Also very close to white beach as shows on the website and the beach is gorgeous there where I found there wasnt much of a beach at the actual white beach port just lots of restaurants and boats docked!

Hope this helps...I can give you a guarantee you would love it for sure!

Good luck =)

tamaraw beach resort

try white sand beach resort. when u get off the "commander" ferry boat, that's where u land, right in front of it. the rates are reasonable. the food is so-so. staff is ok but not great. rooms are clean but spartan. beach front, with eating and shopping nearby

Can I get a motel room any time of the day?

If I needed to check in to a motel earlier than the stated check in time, would they be able to provide me with a room?

Some place will let you check in early. If the the rooms or clean.

That depends.

If they are not busy probably the rooms are already cleaned and made up and they can give it to you.

You have to take a chance.

Sometimes they will do your room first on a priority basis.

It all depends on how nice you treat the manager and not throw your weight around. They will do it with a smile, I am sure.

You did not ask - but let me tell you: If arriving late - call ahead, give them your cc# and hold for late arrival. It is good till midnite or till whatever time you told them.

yes, there is plenty everywhere, you can always go in and ask

I wonder if going to WDW parks within a few days of the end of school is a good idea? Also, need cheap motel?

Need a clean and cheap motel near WDW parks. Limited budget to work with. Suggestions appreciated. Also, dates I am looking at are June 4-8, 2008. I am hoping that a lot of schools will still be in session and parks won't be that crowded. Open to thoughts from others with summer experience.

Some schools will still be in session, so it won't be completely busy, but do expect some crowds.

The cheapest hotel closest to Disney for those dates is the Days Inn Maingate East -- $35.00 for a standard room.

There's lots of places under 50/night, so head over to http://www.resideo.com/us/florida/kissimmee/ and click the "Check Availability" button. Choose your dates, submit the form, then sort by price -- that'll put the cheapest places first.

Hope that helps...have fun!!!

This is the busy season. Most or probably all Florida schools will be out then (and even though Disney is a national attraction, a large number of people there will be from instate). Florida schools start early and end early, so end of August is a better idea than June if you live in a state where school doesn't begin until Labor Day. You can get all sorts of good deals then, including on Disney All Star hotels and Pop Century, which can be a really good deal if you are going during low season. They cost more than budget Orlando hotels, but factor in that you aren't paying for parking at the parks, and that brings it down a bit. They have excellent transportation.

Busy week, but early in Hurricane season so that is good. There is more to consider than the price of the hotel. Disney Value resorts are well priced and you then have free parking, free transportation to park and to and from the airport. You can also take advantage of the dinning plan which saves on meals.

Although its not stopping me this date is really hot and humid time to go to WDW and the parks will be quite full as the schools are still on break..

There are good bargains to be had at most budget hotels and one seems to be about the same as another. if you wanted to pay a bit more i would recommend the hawthorne suites as they have a full kitchen which saves you eating out the whole time. Not that we cooked that much lol

Hope that helps

Busy, busy, and oh yeh, busy. I wouldn't. All over the united states the busy season for vacations starts last week in may and lasts till the middle of August. I would hold out til the last week in August or the first week in Sept and miss out on the first week of school. The park is dead and, Get this, if you book on April 10th for one of these two weeks at a value resort, you will get free dining plan. It hasnt been opened to public til the tenth but if you apply tonight or tomorrow for a disney rewards card then you can get the offer now or tomorrow before they get swamped with calls and possibly sold out. This is a great deal and June is too hot and busy. You will regret it. I would just say we will catch up on school later, who cares. The value resorts are $89 a night. You can't beat that for resort hours (extra hours the public doesnt get) and free transportation to the parks, and disney resort. I wouldn't stay off the park. Too much traffic in and out and just all around too much trouble and not enough benefits for too close of a price. There is no savings there. Goodluck and have a great trip.

Not a good time to be there cos it will be packed and very hot... Sept is better and Kissimmee has the best and cheapest motels....

I will be there the week before you. I believe you are going at the begining of the busy season, but you will be OK. It will just get more crowded in the following weeks of June and July.

You should at least consider the All Star resorts to take advantage of the transportion and extra magic hours

Sweet Vacations has some great deals on Disney and Disney cruises too
