Thanks!
Hotel Circle is good, caue theres lots of hotels, but can get confusing, even for the locals.
Try the Holiday Inn in down town, right next to the water.
One of the less expensive hotels in Hotel Circle is Kings Inn. It's nice and clean...has a large pool, jacuzzi, and a restaurant on the premises...with lots more nearby. It usually goes for less than $80 a room. Their website: http://www.kingsinnsandiego.com/
A hotel close to the beach that is not real expensive is Pacific Shores Inn. http://pacific-shores-inn.pacificahost.com/
You can get the cheapest airline and hotel
by searching hundreds of websites at once.
Whenever you need to get the cheapest airline,
hotel or rent-a-car, go to the following page that is
issue-oriented and has no stupidity, then You will be able to
find the cheapest one in the US.
You don't have to go here and there to find them.
the only problem with Hotel Circle is that there isn't many food choices nearby
Try this website www.cheaphotel-s. com , you can search through 30 over websites and 700,000 hotels worldwide. You can choose to search through hotel ratings and price.
Good luck. Have a nice trip.
Google Hotel Circle San Diego and it will give you a listing where you can go to pictures etc of all the hotels in that area.
The Motel 6 around 6th street is ok. Or the 500 West on Broadway. It's a nice a clean, safe hotel about 2 blocks from the Coronado ferry.
It is certainly nothing fancy but it is clean and they have nice LCD TVs. I've stayed there a few times while my house was being worked on. It's only about 4 blocks from Gaslamp so everything is within walking distance.
Must be a lot of San Diego haters out there. All I see on ansers is a bunch of thumbs down on anwers to different questions. They must be jealous they don't live here in paradise
Here are some suggestions. Days Hotel Mission Valley, Seven Seas Best Western, Crowne Plaza, Residence Inn Mission Valley, Hawthorn Suites. I have been to all of these hotels, The Days Hotel has been named the best in the Days Inn Chain numerous times, The Crowne Plaza is formerly the Hanalei. The Seven Seas Best Western has shuttle service, a restaurant and Internet access in the lobby. The Hawthorn Suites and Residence Inn are the newest properties of the group. The Residence in has a kids lounge, basketball court breakfast area, and Internet access in the lobby.
