State of New Hampshire: Are room & meal taxes refundable to customers staying over 186 days in the same motel?

re: meals & room taxes paid to a motel for an extended stay in the state of New Hampshire. Is the motel obligated to refund to the customer meals and room taxes paid to them if the stay is over 186 days. Are they responsible to inform the customer if this is the case.

Weirdest law I ever heard, but here it is:

http://www.nh.gov/revenue/faq/dra_700.html

Once you hit day 186, the hotel is required to refund the taxes paid.
