Which is better - extended stay motel with all bills paid or an apartment?

I like the idea of the extended stay motel... Will it be less expensive for one individual with an income of $1200/ month?

This is in the Dallas Area...

Personally, I'd get an apartment. I was on apartments.com for Dallas & $400 a month is pretty decent compared to what I'm paying.

An apartment may cost a little more, but it's more of a permanent place on where you can stay. Even if the motel seems to cost less, but have you added tax to the bill? You can't cook in a motel, there's not much privacy, there's no refrigerator for food, there's no washer and dryer within the motel, there's no permanent parking....

Well how much are they asking for rent per week or month @ the motel Is it nice is it clean will u have a microwave and a small fridge what are the accommodations @the motel. I think most likely and apartment with all the bills and the rent&lets not 4get cable and ur phone bill will cost alot and if u can afford all those things u will be having to do something else on the side to earn extra money to make ends meet that will take away from school and what ever else u spend ur day doing so if the price is right I'd move to the extended stay motel pluss singel people with busy live's deserve a house keeper lol and @the motel every day u can come home to a clean house

The motel fees can change due to season or vacancy. You might want to see about renting a room. At least then, you would have roommates to pay a portion of the rent and bills.

Extended stay motels ... can really add up ... get an apartment if you want to save money ... unless you know of a place that;'s really cheap ... I needed to spend a few moths in an extended stay ... wished I could've found a shortterm apartment
