I have 5 years old nice motel but previous owner had rundown business so how can i get business back?

There is 12 motel in town everyone doing good execept my motel so what i have to do to get business back, i have biggest and clean room in my town but not good location, its far from main road so what is the best way to do marketing, tips, advice

Send letters to various organizations offering them a good price for their members. If you have catering or banquet facilities, these can attract groups. If you belong to a church,synagogue,ashram or mosque - offer people associated with that institution discounts. If you went to a University, offer alumni a discount.

I give bad advise some times, so follow this advise at your own risk. :-)

First, I'd change the name so my hotel was not associated with the past hotel.

Next, if I had a nice banquet hall, I'd contact local wedding planners to have a free lunch there to let them see it and check out your cooking. This will also let them see that you have nice rooms that when there is a wedding in town, the guest can stay at your place.

Then I'd help out with local charities or events to let them come to your hotel and use any conference rooms you might have. This lets people see you place and how it has changed and that will get word of mouth going.

Then of course there are billboards on the main roads directing people to your hotel and Internet advertising.

Far from main road? Make into nudist motel...be full alltimes.

Big clean rooms? Raffle one free room every night and peoples in lucky chosen room stays free one night. (next time)

Tell peoples in newspaper,...." These is only rooms in town wot gets bellydancer breakfast."
