Can anyone tell me a CHEAP motel and car rental in Atlanta Georgia?

Hi, I am in need of a CHEAP but nice motel room and Inexpensive car rental in Atlanta Georgia. Can anyone recommend anywhere? The last time I went away I went to a super 8 and found cat poop on the floor. :) Thank you in advance.

It really depends on what part of town you will be in and where you are going in Atlanta. As for car rentals, the cheapest area to get one is at the airport. You can also find some decent cheap hotels down there by the airport also. The best bet, also just like any other major city, is to stay in hotels away from the downtown area and any tourist places. A good alternative is to stay at a place in Decatur, where you can take surface roads rather than the freeways (or parking lots, depending on the time of day) to save time. Red Roof Inn's are good places to stay for cheap. They have them all over Atlanta.
