Does anyone know the cheapest motel to stay at in New York City?

or in Queens. Do i have to be 21 and older to check in a room alone? If not tell me where?

Whereever it is, its in a seedy area of Queens or Brooklyn and filled with crack adicts. Remember, New York City includes Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Statan Island. But many people mean Manhattan when they say New York City; thats common. IF your having a vaction spend the few extra dollor getting a room in the area you want to visit

get a cardboard box and sleep on the street. It is probably safer to stay on the street than at the cheapest motel in NYC.

Look to see if there is a youth hostel instead.

I wouldn't go near the cheapest motel in NYC or Queens... coz you may not come out alive!

If you want to go budget, try youth hostel in the upper west side (although you may be stuck with some partying kids).

If you can afford spending at least around $100 a night on some reasonably priced hotels just to be safe, here are some places to try: Union Square Inn, Gershwin Hotel, Lots in Chelsea, Marriott Executive Stay, Americana Inn. Good luck.

How cheap? If you want a decent place in NYC, it is not less than $200/night. If outside NYC, you can get something cheaper.

$75/night staying in the basement w/ private entrance in a nice neighborhood in Brooklyn. I've stayed here, it was way better than anything you could get for the same price at a motel. You have the basement to yourself 99% of the time, she only comes down there to do her electrolysis business and she lets you know when she'll be down there.

My friend goes every year she stays at the YWCA in Manhattan its in the 30-40 streets on the east side. No you just have to be over 18.

Trust me, you dont want to stay alone at the cheapest motels in Nyc.

Check out hostels--youth and elder, whichever you prefer. They're the most interesting and diversified people from all over the world trying to get by inexpensively. BTW, hostels are in most cities, anywhere and everywhere.

Um... are you sure that's something you really want to do .. stay in the cheapest motel in NYC? You need to go to a travel agent or AAA or somewhere that can recommend to you an inexpensive motel that is still okay to stay at.
