Can anyone tell me if there is like a YMCA in las vegas that someone can stay at or a very cheap motel/hotel?

Someone I know is going there for the Mr. Olympia event on a spur of the moment thing and most of the hotels are either booked or way expensive. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Golden Palm Hotel

3111 W. Tropicana Ave.

Las Vegas NV 89103 USA

This is a dirt cheap hotel and you will get what you pay for. It is a roof over your head and a bed on which to sleep.

Located one block west of the Strip on Tropicana, this hotel sits within feet of I-15 (I believe I-15 actually goes over part of the property).

Cheap, relatively close to center Strip, easy access to Interstate 15. What more do you need?

Good luck!

If you're driving in from California the Gold Strike in Jean was the most reasonable I could find ($55) for Friday night the 28th

There is Motel 6 on the strip. there is the Imperial Palace on the strip that is reasonable and there are hotels in the old section of what used to be the main area that are reasonable. http://www.stationcasinos.com Downtown hotels Main Street Station - California - Fremont http...Cortez Fitzgerald's Four Queens Vegas Club Plaza Horseshoe On the Boulder Hwy..

The El Cortez or the Western downtown are dirt cheap.

But also not very nice.

Go to http://www.cheapovegas.com

they have links to every casino/hotel in town

and also have reviews.

Good Luck

YMCA in Vegas does not rent rooms.

Your best bet would be to check off strip.

If he is staying for a week he can check with one of the budget suites. They are only about $240 for 7 days.

really. consider where you want to stay and the cheaper it is the less happy you will be

look at one of the daily or weekly motels.

but they are run down.

Try the local homeless shelter on main or rough it out in the desert.

Other then that, I don't know.
